Obituary of Harriett L. Alexander

Harriett L. Alexander, 94, Douglassville Harriett L. (Brown) Alexander, 94, widow of the Late Earl Alexander, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in Amity Place, Douglassville. She was born in West Chester to the late Harry and the late Clara (Taylor) Brown. Harriett, one of 7 children, spent most of her life in Spring City. She was a faithful church member of St. Peters, Pikeland UCC for over 75 years where her roles included: Choir member, Sunday school teacher, Piano player for Sunday School Sewing Circle member, Former Elder and Secretary for the church board. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them. Harriet was employed for Dietz and Pierson Accounting, then James Mackey, where she worked as a bookkeeper until retirement. She leaves behind two sons: Keith D. Alexander (Trish) of Newmanstown and Craig Alexander (Jonnie) of Spring City and Four Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, January 27, 2019 in St. Peters Pikeland United Church Of Christ, 1193 Clover Mill Rd., Chester Springs with the Rev. Doug Hanson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 - 2:30 Sunday at the church. Burial will be immediately following in St. Peter's Pikeland UCC Cemetery in Chester Springs.
